BUNKERING IN THE AMERICAS - A NEW ERA AND A NEW DYNAMIC
Maritime Week Americas is a hugely popular week-long series of events created to bring together bunker suppliers, traders and buyers – and related maritime professionals – from all over the world.
This year it takes place overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a stones’ throw from Port Everglades, one of the most important cruise, petroleum and container ports in the Americas.
MWA 2019 comprises a high-level two-day marine bunker conference, a specialist training course on bunker claims management, a seminar on price risk management and an IMO 2020 workshop. MWA 2019 also guarantees some of the most spectacular networking events in the bunker industry.
MWA Conference, Bunkering in the Americas - A New Era and a New Dynamic • 21-23 May
The MWA 2019 conference will cover a range of key subjects of particular interest to those working or interested in bunkering in the Americas.
The Conference includes a three-hour Boat Tour of inland waterways, magnificent superyacht marinas and Port Everglades.
Please note: The MWA19 Networking Tour is open to all conference delegates, however, please note there is a maximum capacity of 125 so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. In order to secure your place please email email@example.com.

This is a must-attend course for all in the shipping, bunkering and related sectors who need to get up to speed on the key implications of the introduction of the 0.50% global sulphur cap in 2020.
Bunker Claims Management • Tuesday 21 May

Bunker Price Benchmarking • Tuesday 21 May (2:30pm to 4pm - Free)
The seminar will explain and show how new benchmark bunker numbers can be achieved and converted into real bunker prices – to establish a parallel bunker market which is based on oil futures’ differentials.
This is a free afternoon seminar given by Carl-Johan Garsten of Marine Bunker Exchange (MABUX).
