The Oxford Bunker Course (Advanced Commercial) • 11-12 December
This two-day intensive commercially-oriented bunker course is very well suited to those with a working knowledge of bunkering who require more detailed knowledge of the key elements of the commercial deal.
The course covers commercial, operational, financial, technical and legal issues in some depth. Among the main topics are: bunker and voyage planning; bunker costing and pricing; chartering; suppliers' terms and conditions and bunker clauses; credit and insurance; banking; specifications and procedures; risk management; regulations; bunkering procedures; quantity measurements and eliminating fraud; changing international fuel specifications; bunker buyer specifications; bunker claims and what to do in an emergency; identifying potential problems and avoiding bunker disputes; dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration; debunking and an insightful view of future developments. IBIA Basic Bunker Course • 12 December
This one-day course is designed for newcomers to bunkering. It covers all the basics, including technical, operations, environmental, commercial and legal issues, and gives delegates a useful introduction to how the bunker industry works. This course has been taught at many locations around the world and has provided hundreds of newcomers a helpful starting point from which to launch their careers in the bunker industry.
