From the Dubai International Airport

Exit Dubai International Airport via Al Quds St/D 91 and take the ramp on the left to E 11. Continue onto Sheikh Zayed Road taking exit 35. Follow the signs to Jumeirah Beach Road. As you turn left, the destination will be on your right.

For delegates who require a visa support letter to attend a Petrospot training course, conference or seminar, please note that an administration charge of £50 will be applied to your course/event fee. A visa support letter will not be supplied by Petrospot Limited unless prior payment for the training course and/or event is made in full. Should your application for a visa be refused, a full refund of the course/event fee will be processed within three working days.




Although Arabic is the official language of the UAE, English is the most spoken language in Dubai. You will also find a lot of expatriates who speak Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil, Tagalog, Persian, Chinese, Malayalam, in addition to many other languages.

Dubai weather is characterised by a tropical desert climate with hot, sunny conditions. Much of Dubai's annual rainfall occurs between December to March however temperatures remain warm and despite the expected rainfall, the period of December, January, February and March is considered Dubai's most comfortable period of the year, climactically.


The UAE unit of currency is Dirham (AED or the United Arab Emirates Dirham also commonly abbreviated to Dhs or DH). Major cards are widely accepted by establishments in the UAE but an exchange rate and bank charges will apply.


230V - outlets are quite often controlled by wall switches.  The plug type is G, three rectangles pins forming a triangle (the same as in the UK).


Dress: People dress conservatively in most public areas. Swimwear is acceptable at the beach or around the swimming pool, but not in other public places. Women are usually required to wear a headscarf in mosques.
Drinking: Alcohol is generally only served in establishments that have licences, such as hotel restaurants and bars.
