Climate Fresk is a scientific, collaborative – and fun – workshop designed to raise awareness about climate change and engage participants in focused and meaningful discussions around sustainability.
Aimed at companies who want to embed sustainability into their day-to-day processes and operations, as well as individuals who want to gain an understanding of global climate issues, the workshop is structured around four key elements: Understanding the science; anchoring knowledge; discussing responses to climate impact issues; and identifying solution and actions.
Highly relevant to those who have little knowledge of climate issues and impact, as well as those who have knowledge but want to learn how to put that into practice i.e. in corporate sustainability strategies and reporting that includes compliance with Scope emission targets, the Climate Fresk workshop will:
- Train participants in a shared set of skills
- Provide an awareness of the complex system of climate changes, and what action is needed at an individual and collective level
- Engage in teams’ capacity building based on collective intelligence
- Support impactful entrepreneurship
- Engage and mobilise staff on sustainability initiatives
- Kick off sustainability strategic thinking
- Motivate people to act responsibly
The workshop will be facilitated by Aisha Al Balushi, Trainer and Country Coordinator at Climate Fresk.
Climate Fresk Founder and president, Cédric Ringenbach, is an engineer, lecturer and energy transition consultant.
