London, 21 May 2021 - Hosted and arranged by CSO Alliance and managed by Petrospot, the MarSec21+ free online event on 26-27 May brings together key stakeholders and subject matter experts to discuss the evolving physical and digital security challenges faced by the global maritime and ports sector and how the public and private sectors can work together to effectively address the growing threats, including adoption of new technology solutions.

Eleven focused sessions, with 27 speakers with already 600 delegates registered across the two days will cover key topics including:

• Identifying threats and building resilience
• Improving incident reporting and information sharing
• Cyber security – the next great frontier
• Security training and IMO regulations
• The changing role of the CSO and PFSO – physical meets digital
• How will digital transformation and automation affect security?
• Mental health at sea – understanding the true security impact

To consider these questions, MarSec21+ has put together a top programme of experts to share views from government, authorities and regulators, insurance and legal, shipping and port operations, risk analysts, academics and consultants, training and technology providers. Speakers will take part from the Bahamas Maritime Authority, Belgian Government, International Harbour Masters Association, International Maritime Organization, US Coast Guard, V.Group, Marsh Advisory, CGI, Mission Secure, Mintra and CyberOwl, to name a few.

MarSec21+ will be hosted online with free registration and is an active initiative to open meaningful and practical dialogue between key parties of the maritime and ports industry. With ever-evolving threats to vessels, seafarers, port operations and port workers from organised crime and other risks, the need to bring together shipping, ports, and the maritime supply chain into one place is paramount.
