Marine Energy Transition Forum

Petrospot has taken the very difficult decision to postpone the Marine Energy Transition Forum, which was due to take place at the Port of Antwerp on 17-18 March. This event will now take place 17-18 September 2020.

We had very much hoped to run the event as planned but the health and wellbeing of all participants must be our priority and the situation regarding the spread of the coronavirus in Europe has worsened considerably this week. A number of speakers were also unable to attend the event because of the imposition of company travel restrictions, and others were expecting similar decisions to be implemented in the next few days.

After discussions with our METF supporting partner, the Port of Antwerp, we intend to run the event later in the year and a new date for the conference will be communicated over the next week.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank sponsors, speakers, delegates and industry partners for their much-valued support of METF, and we offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that its postponement may have caused.

Please direct any enquiries about the rescheduling of METF to Sophie Keene:
