Interest in London International Shipping Week 2015 (LISW15) is starting to build strongly following confirmation that the new UK Minister for Shipping and Ports, Robert Goodwill, MP for Scarborough and Whitby, is looking forward to his Maritime portfolio and in particular LISW15.

Jeremy Penn, Chairman of the LISW Steering Group and also Chief Executive at The Baltic Exchange, said: "We were delighted to be contacted directly by the Minister's office to inform us that LISW15 is firmly on Mr Goodwill's agenda. It's great news that the Government deems it to be high priority for the new Minister and we look forward to meeting Robert Goodwill in due course."
