 In response to the overwhelming success of Report Writing for Marine Surveyors, published in 2011 by Petrospot, its author, the highly experienced consultant and surveyor, Mike Wall, will lead this unique two-day course.
This course examines the art of preparing, writing and presenting clear, precise, consistent and useful reports for the marine surveying industry. It addresses every point in a logical and understandable manner and provides excellent examples on why certain types of report work and others don't.
Even the most experienced, knowledgeable and well-trained marine surveyor needs to be able to express his findings in a well-structured, easily-read and properly presented report in order to maximise the impact of his work. This course will provide the right tools to do just that.
Day one will cover the imperative of research, writing and presentation. Day two will look more closely at specific reporting jobs a marine surveyor is frequently asked to perform and provides helpful guidelines and advice about how best to manage the tasks.
