Full details are given below.

Field Trip to the Port of Miami

TUESDAY 18 MAY 2010 OR THURSDAY 20 MAY 2010

**Due to high demand, we are also planning to offer a second tour on Thursday 20 May to allow people to attend the IBIA course and Bunker Metering Seminar on Tuesday.**

The tour will include access to areas that standard port tours never reach, including the command centre, the cruise terminal security and baggage handling areas, the terminals, cranes and container areas, the radiation / x-ray gantries, the port areas that are being dredged to accommodate increasingly large container vessels, and of course, the perimeter fences!

A coach will take you on a short journey (approximately 10-20 minutes) directly from The Ritz-Carlton to the Port of Miami, where you will be given a two hour tour by officials of the Port of Miami, returning you back to the hotel later in the afternoon, in good time for the Opening Reception.
