Alison Jane Cutler
Design & Marketing Manager

Alison manages Petrospot’s marketing activities, coordinating and creating email campaigns, mailings, advertising, brochures, books and websites for Petrospot's training courses, events and publications.

Alison worked in law as a Legal Executive for the first nine years of her career, but was very involved with the Solicitors artwork (then desktop publishing) and decided to further her career in that area. She moved to the Mirror Group, working in pre-press, compiling advertisements and page layouts for numerous newspapers and magazines. Following closure of the local branch, Alison worked as a European Report Specialist for PricewaterhouseCoopers, but missed her media work and therefore retrained herself to work in web design and worked as Web Design Manager for the Chrysallis Group. Here she had total responsibility for clients' websites, including design consultations, photography, site design, ftp, SES and related activities, as well as running the Birmingham branch. Alison also worked on the National Health Service (NHS) Data and Information Standards Programme, maintaining its website, providing general IT support, and working on data coding for NHS systems.

In 2006, Alison moved from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands to set up home with her husband Craig in Northamptonshire. Firstly she worked at Brady Corporation as UK Marketing Coordinator, researching, copyrighting and creating campaigns and organising trade shows and exhibitions, including stand build design and coordination, equipment booking, etc. She joined Petrospot in September 2007.
