Petrospot is an independent publishing, training and events organising company specialising in transport, energy and maritime intelligence.

Based in Oxfordshire, England, Petrospot is 100% owned and headed by Llewellyn Bankes-Hughes, formerly Managing Director of MRC Business Information Group Limited and a member of Informa Group’s Maritime & Transport board. Ian Taylor and Luci Llewellyn-Jones, both previously at MRC and Informa, form Petrospot’s management team.

Petrospot is focused on two distinct market sectors: intermodal cargo security and marine fuels. In each sector, Petrospot publishes hardcopy magazines and electronic news services, and organises training courses, specialist business forums and international conferences. In marine fuels, Petrospot also publishes the bunker industry’s leading reference book.

Through its main titles, Cargo Security International and Bunkerspot, and via its training courses, seminars, conferences and books, Petrospot aims to combine the highest level of expertise and experience with true value for money.
